Workflow
From search to workbook in three steps.
Keep your analysis context in Excel—without switching browsers, downloading files, or rebuilding statement layouts.
01
Open the add-in
Open Disclosure Search from the Excel ribbon and sign in with your Time2Analyze account.
02
Choose a company and periods
Search by company name or security code, then review the years and statements you need in Explorer.
03
Add to the workbook
Select Add to Excel to append the formatted output sheets to the end of the current workbook.
Explorer output
More than accounting data—usable analysis sheets.
Explorer standardizes periods, line items, units, and presentation order so the output is immediately useful for review and modeling.
Balance sheet (BS)
Compare assets, liabilities, and equity across periods in a consistent structure.
Profit and loss (PL)
Review the progression from revenue to profit in a clean comparative layout.
Cash flow (CF)
Track operating, investing, and financing cash flows across reporting periods.
Analysis and model sheets
Bring Explorer's ratios, checks, charts, and supporting outputs into the same workbook.
Security & privacy
Only the permission required. Your existing data is not uploaded.
The add-in writes new sheets generated by Disclosure Search into the current workbook. It does not upload the workbook's existing contents to Time2Analyze.
Existing workbook stays on your device
There is no workflow that reads your current workbook and sends its contents to an external server.
Account and access controls
Your existing Time2Analyze sign-in and Explorer permission establish a secure 24-hour session with sliding renewal.
ReadWriteDocument
Excel write access is used to add the newly generated sheets to the current workbook.
Compatibility
Built for the Excel environments teams use.
The add-in automatically selects an output compatible with the current Excel host.
Excel for Windows / Mac
Adds the complete workbook, including tables, formulas, formatting, charts, and comments.
Excel for the web
Supports tables, formulas, and formatting. Charts and comments are automatically omitted to match Excel API limits.
Apple Numbers
Office Add-ins cannot run in Numbers. Export a standard Excel file from the browser version of Explorer instead.
